Making Sacred Space - How to create an altar

Each home needs a sacred space, a place where you can feel supported, where you can center, where you can meditate or pray. In this workshop, you will learn about the basic foundation of creating an altar in your home and using the 5 elements as a guide. We will create demo altars during the workshop and learn about the importance of meaningful objects. About the instructor: Wen Carey was brought up in her early years in a Buddhist household where home altars were omnipresent. She also visited many temples as a child.

In her adult years, she has seen many altars at Churches she attended as well as many cathedrals in the US and world she visited.
